Safe for Families, Pets & Native Wildlife

Poisons kill more than pests. Protection without compromise.

Relentlessly tested to repel pests effectively, not kill ecosystems.

Aussie-Tested. Results-Proven.

Built for real backyards, real pests & real Aussie conditions.

Trusted by Australian Homes Since 2008

18+ years helping Australians protect their homes, poison-free.

Take back your backyard with the EnviroBug Heavy Duty Outdoor Mosquito Trap, like 1000’s of other Aussie families. It’s a practical, weatherproof solution designed to reduce incessant mozzies around homes, patios, BBQ areas and outdoor entertaining spaces without fumes, sprays or zapping.

Built for Australian conditions, this trap uses just 15 watts of power (with a 7w globe) and can be plugged in wherever you need it most. That means reliable mosquito control whatever the weather, without the running costs (to you and the environment) of refills, dangerous propane or harsh chemical systems.

The trap works hard across larger areas, attracting and trapping mozzies - it also eliminates West Nile-carrying insects as well as biting flies, Asian beetles, and other flying pests. It’s a cleaner, quieter way to protect your space and enjoy it properly again.

Cleaning is straightforward too. The state-of-the- art screw-off basket makes emptying and washing simple, so you can keep it working without the mess or maintenance headache of disposable devices.

How It Works

  • Cutting edge UV light — 7W fluorescent bulb attracts mozzies with precise blue light frequency.
  • CO2 attractant — titanium dioxide collar produces a small and safe amount of CO2 to boost attraction (imitating the CO2 released by the skin of mammals).
  • Quiet fan — powerful vortex pulls mozzies into the removable basket.
  • Effective trapping — mozzies dehydrate inside, no escape.

Mozzie Population Control

  • Large coverage — attracts up to 1000m², bigger than most Aussie blocks.
  • Targets females — traps breeding mozzies, stops thousands of eggs.
  • Breaks the cycle — territorial mozzies stay within 100m of birth area.
  • Long-term results — gradually reducing local populations and meaning fewer future swarms.

Heavy Duty Mozzie Trap

Trap Works well. Best used as directed, a couple of hours each night around dusk ahead of, and when dining outside. It is advertised as weather proof, however the provided instructions suggest this may not be the case. We keep it covered just in case.

Exceeded expectations

I had it on for a couple of nights and noticed no difference.

Then I saw a review suggesting leaving it on 24/7, so I did that.

10 days later - not a mosquito or midge in sight!

Absolutely amazed.

My husband is allergic to midge bites and literally has scars all over his legs. I am sure noone gets bitten more than him, but he has not had a bite since!

We have it next to the pool and we have bush in our backyard. Table height as the customer service team suggested.

Truly amazing. A+++

I'm a devoted fan!! Top product, works brilliantly!

I'm the one that gets 20 bites in 5 minutes, acting like a human mosquito repellant for everyone else around me! I live on acreage in a massive mozzie zone, I'm always covered in DEET or lighting mosquito coils whenever I want to sit outside. They even bite my head when I sit up to my chin in the outdoor hot tub trying to get away from them! The slayer has given me my freedom back - I hung it in my outdoor BBQ area, near the spa about 1 month ago and have not been bitten since, I can't quite get over how well it's worked! Thank you thank you thank you!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our Heavy Duty Outdoor Mozzie Trap. We are so glad to hear you are able to enjoy the outdoors again, bite-free! Happy mosquito-free living!

Sincerely,

Alex

Does the job

Purchased this as our outdoor area had a lot of mosquitoes and sitting out there was not much fun. Mosquito trap seems to be working well and also traps other insects. Happy with the purchase.

Excellent device

Really effective! We bought this to try and reduce the moths in our alfresco area, and it's worked a treat.

Only feature that would be awesome is if the light bulb turned off during the day, to allow it to last longer.

Very happy with our purchase!

Amazing

I was sceptical- but desperate to try anything. Our back yard was no longer a place we could sit and enjoy. We had tried sprays, coils, oils you name it! We can now enjoy our backyard again. Have recommended to all friends living in our area!

Thanks for your review - I have just re-checked your tracking and it was sitting with your Post office from 4 August (following attempted delivery), but it looks like you picked it up on the 24th, so that's great news. We hope you enjoy it :)

Eradicates more than mozzies

I love Envirobug. This is a no fuss, no stink product. I have tried other gadgets in the past, and while they worked, they either required me to refill a reservoir which was messy, or they stank. Finally, I gave Envirobug a try, NOT expecting too much. I am delighted to report it not only eradicates mozzies and sandflies BUT ... it eradicates those egg-laying moths that leave brown fluffy egg clusters all over walls, the patio ceiling and fan. These moth egg clusters are hard to remove, so much so, I used to leave the patio fan on all the time to try to keep them away. NOW Envirobug takes care of everything for me and I have switched off the ceiling fan. This is such an amazing product. The NEXT thing I am going to buy is their product for eradicating flies and blowflies. :)

quiet and clean as advertised

Have only had Envirobug for 2 weeks. There were NO mozzies when I was outside yesterday and I hope this continues.

My back deck is no longer a danger zone

Our high hopes for outdoor entertaining on our new deck were almost sunk by insidious and persistent mosquito incursions. Repellant spray and citronella candles were simply not enough and we soon found ourselves back indoors searching for a solution. We found one in the envirobug and are now back out on the deck, enjoying the sunshine and breeze without fear.

My only warning is that it does run off mains-electricity so needs an outdoor powerpoint and/or extension lead to set up.

It really works!

No sound, no zapping noise, no dead bugs on the ground. You need to follow the instructions and have it running 24/7. Works really well!

This really works

We have a nice patio area that we have not been able to use because within a few minutes we were being attacked by mozzies. After about 2 weeks of running this gadget, the mozzies seem to have disappeared. The main things trapped are moths. Unfortunately, some do get away when cleaning out the filter. But the amount of dead insects collected and desiccated is phenomenal. A great gadget.
