FAQs

Why should I use humane traps over snaps or poisons?

Snaps maim painfully, poisons cause slow death and kill native wildlife via secondary poisoning. This trap catches alive for release — no suffering, no rotting bodies in walls.

How far should I release mice?

Drive or carry at least 2km away, in bush or field. Mice struggle to return that distance, preventing re-invasion.

What’s the best bait?

Peanut butter works best — sticky and smelly to lure. Seeds or chocolate spread are also effective; refresh as needed.

How does self-reset work?

After release, the door arms automatically for the next mouse. Catches multiples without resetting.

Does it work on rats?

Designed for mice and smaller rodents. It will work for smaller rats - alternatively see the XL Rat trap.

How do I clean it?

Rinse under hose after release. Use brush/gloves for hygiene; air dry ready for bait.

Safe around kids and pets?

Completely — no toxins, snaps, or glue. Clear plastic lets kids see (supervised); pets ignore.

Easy set up

Fairly simple clean design. Easy to set up and the clear plastic makes it easy to see what you've caught.

Does the trick

They're great, bigger than I expected. Makes it easy to release the little critters outside without doing any harm.

Sometimes they will run in and get the food without it triggering, but I think that's more me getting used to how to set up the food on the trigger. Gets them most times.

Fantastic mouse trap!!

Caught the two mice we knew we had and the six we didn't know about. Very impressed. Took a bit of experimenting to find a bait that worked everytime. Some baits were taken and the trap didn't close, but sticky peanut paste (as much as possible without triggering the trap) worked everytime. Highly recommend

Finally something that works for my partner the mosquito magnet

My partner is a mosquito magnet - the minute he walks into a room, a mosquito will appear. We first tested the trap outdoors and were amazed at how many bugs it trapped. The next night we put it in the lounge room and caught two mosquitos - and importantly my partner did not get bit. Until now we have had to give him breaks while watching tv so he could track down mosquitos to kill, this contraption does it for him.

Easy to use

Easy to use. Termites are attracted to it. Safe guard your house.
Bait is great termites take back to the queen and kills of colony. Great price exactly what the professionals use and charge you a few thousand

Very happy with our new snake repellers and

Very happy with our new snake repellers and their was very quick once we placed our order 🙂

Good product that sticks and repels snails

the tape sticks to brick around my letter box. i put a couple of layers to make it wider. so far it's looking like it's working quite well, only a few have bypassed it, i'd say the majority have not entered. compared to before it's like a 95% reduction in snails. pretty happy with it so far.

Great product, actually works.
I had 11 snakes over 8 weeks last years, 2 inside my house. Once I purchased these repellers, I’ve not seen one. Recently had to replace the stems and that process was so quick and streamlined. Thoroughly recommend.
